Pizzolato Fields Prosecco Spumante, NV, Veneto, Italy
A beautifully balanced sparkling wine, dry and refreshing, with a long delicious finish. Pale straw in color, with peaches, and granny delicious apple on the front and Meyer lemon on the back palette. Would hold its own against much more expensive sparklers.

Why I chose this wine: I blind tasted this with several other wines at this price point and found this to be the sparkling wine with the longest finish. I like my sparkling wine without food (I also like it with food, don’t get me wrong) but this one lingered beautifully on my palette. Will also be excellent with lighter to medium fare. But it’s affordable and delicious, so drink it how you like it.
